‘Tusuy’ is a dancey cut from Ecuadorian producer Felipe Zapata. He claims that the track shows off a merging of his influences, and from what we hear, they must be a pretty wide set. A thick, smooth bassline is the centrepiece of the tune, building from which we hear luscious keyboard melodies, a beautiful female vocal and some crunchy guitar chords and melodies floating about the stereo field. Tuned percussion makes an appearance in the interludes, before a restrained guitar solo plays us out. For such an unknown artists, Zapata is capable of releasing some truly unique tracks. - Dan Peeke
